My Mum, my friend, my mum.........
What exactly is life? This is because when you look at it from every point of view whatsoever, we are all just passers-by.
Truthfully, my initial reaction was still one of disbelief and something inside me was still hoping, and praying that a miracle could transpire.
At the end of the day, we all have a final destination and mum happened to get to her destination rather too soon.
I remembered the last ‘heart-on-heart’ conversation I had with you on phone, mum, though you ended it with tears but I couldn’t actually picked up that you were trying to tell me the hour has come.
Your Death came as a shock to me and as you sit in the arms of the Lord, I your Son, your family, friends and colleagues mourn your death.
I still wake up every morning hoping this is a dream, and it hurts knowing you are gone forever.
My Mum, my friend, the daughter of Mount Zion, the mother of faith; I had plans to come down to Nig and spend time with you at ‘Shiloh 2020 in canaanland as we used to do, but God decided it was your time.
Everyone felt the pain that you had been suffering for so long………..
I will cherish every single moment I spent with you.
Your body might be gone from this world but your spirit will live on in my hearts forever. Today, I will mourn you in my own way as I pay a tribute to you, mum.
Mum, you were and will always be an inspiration to myself, the entire family and anyone who worked with you. You have left a void in the family that will never be filled.
While we mourn today, we also take comfort in the fact that your mission on earth would have been fulfilled. We thank the Lord for your life.
I guess this is my final goodbye since we never got the chance to meet again. Rest in peace Mum, I will definitely miss you.
Love You, My mum, my friend, my mum‼!
    Your Son,
john chukwu NDUKWE.
