Luanne O’Brian King, 48, a resident of Granville County passed away Tuesday, September 27th at Duke Medical Center.

A native of Granville County, the daughter of Bobby and Gladys Godsey.  She was of the Baptist faith and retired from the banking business to devote all her time to Kady.

Memorial funeral service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening, September 29th at the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford by the Rev. Gene Brooks and the Rev. Johnny Richards.

Surviving are her husband of nineteen years Edward King of the home, two daughters, Victoria Carol King of Stafford, VA and Kady Frances King of the home, a son Stephen King, Stafford, VA, four sisters, Marsha O Green of Lealand, JoAnn G. Watts of Oxford, Vickie O Sayce of Boston, Mass., Rita G. Stanley of Oxford, two brothers, Van O’Brian of Roxboro and Wade Godsey of Oxford, two Grandchildren, Aydrienne King and Dalion King and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Aicardi Syndrome Organization.

Visitation 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Thursday September, 29th at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford.
