Her Life

Mrs. Lucille Robinson Harris was born on March 19, 1922 to the late Alvester and Sonomore Robinson in Pike County, Georgia.  She was the second of thirteen children.  She confess Christ at an early age and join Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Alvaton, Georgia.  she attended school in Pike County.    

She departed into eternal life on November 12, 2013, joining her husband Arthur, four children and eleven siblings who preceded her in death.  

Lucille was a loving and devoted wife and mother who touched many lives.  She loved cooking, gardening, quilting and fishing.  She married the late Arthur Harris in 1939, and later joined Shiloh Baptist Church in Alvaton, Georgia.  To this union were born fourteen children.  

She is survived by two siblings, Arzella Russell (Gay, GA), John Arthur Strozier (Atlanta, GA); children, Betty (William) Mitchell, Arthur (Lily) Harris, The late Joe Harris, Floyd (Mary Harris), The late Henry (Joann) Harris, Sylvester Harris, Annie (Elijah) Brittian, Mildred (Richard) Patton, Rayvie (Betty) Harris, The late Helen Harris, The late Linda (Ronald) Donnelly, Sandy (Reginald) Strozier, Jerome (Regina) Harris, Debra (Randy) Stevens; fourty-nine gandchildren; eighty great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
