I met Mrs, Tico through my Mother when I was six when we moved to Santa Barbara in 1961. She had a daughter Terri a year older that I would play with after school sometimes. I soon became in awe at how wonderful she did so many creative things and her sister too. Sewing
and knitting Terri’s Barbie dolls clothes , boxes filled with paper dolls cut out . She baked everything and making us pancakes one day with our initials on them. I looked up to her for her kindness and creative spirit.
