This could be seen by the countless letters and text messages she would send to her family and friends encouraging them to learn more about Him. When I think of cinda these things pop into my head. A most Ioyal, obedient and faithful servant to her Heavenly Father( to the very end) stands out). Yes, she was so very kind, loving and thoughtful to everyone. She laughed so well and was just a happy, genuine, a fun loving person. She and I were so much alike. But, with all those wonderful qualities that comes to mind when I think of my beautiful cousin, I am still most impressed in my mind and heart by her most intimate and loving relationship she had ( to the end) with her heavenly Father Jehovah. Lucinda was one of the first people to show me the ropes at Gleason. Always helpful and smiling no matter what. Her passing saddens me but her pain is over. A beautiful soul.

I was saddened by the news that Lucinda had passed away. What a beautiful person. My deepest sympathy to Odell, Ruth, Johnathan, Karl and the rest of the Gamble/Hunt families. I had the privilege of working side by side with Lucinda for many years at Gleason. She was so kind and considerate and worked so hard each and every day. She loved her family and friends so much. This world has lost a very special person. May you find peace in the wonderful memories you have of Lucinda - she will always remain close to my heart.

My heart goes out to Lucinda's entire family, especially O'dell, Ruth & Jonathan. Lucinda was a wonderful person - kind and caring - and a wonderful friend. Thank you for letting her friends from the Gleason Works be part of her beautiful service. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

My deepest condolences to the family. I met Lucinda many years ago when she would come to Buffalo. We had fun times at the Cleary's home. She always smiled. May Jehovah give you all strength and comfort.

It’s so hard to express the way I feel about losing my eldest sister.
First I love you and I will miss you. You were the only sister I never argued or fought with, maybe is because when I was young we shared a bed for a few years and we became very close. The first time I flew was with you. We worked at Gleason together for years. We were just close. You represented our family with grace and honor. You were a great reflection of our dad.
My wife and family loved you so much. You became so close to us. We enjoyed the time you and Odell moved in with us for a while. You were more than a sister, you were my friend. I saw how you put others ahead of yourself, specially when caring for Odell, you went above and beyond. That’s what I most admired of you.
I can go on and on but this is so emotional. I can’t wait to see you again.

Love, Karl

From the first time I met Cinda she was just so easy to talk to, instantly felt like my sister. I can’t believe she’s gone- for now- There were things I planned on doing with her and was looking forward to giving her a big hug as we moved out of this lock down. She comes from a big loving spiritual family that she reflected well-can’t wait to see her walk up to me in paradise.

To The Gamble Family:
I am so sorry for your loss! Lucinda's was so BRIGHT and LOVING and KIND! She was truly grounded in her faith and love for her family and friends! We are all grieving the loss of such a BEAUTIFUL SOUL!

When I saw a picture of the two of us on Graduation Day in the photo montage, I was remembering that very moment! It embodied everything that Lucinda was: full of life, laughter and love!

May Jehovah God comfort you and grant you peace! May He shine His light of love upon you now and until we all see Lucinda again!

It is a comfort to know that she is no longer suffering and that she is in Jehovah's memory waiting for the call back to life and we will be able to enjoy her sweet smile and her loving kindness forever. I wish we had the words to help in this difficult time, but they are hard to find. We will pray that Jehovah gives his loving peace to all the family. Lucinda was such a beautiful person, always easy to talk to and from the moment I met her made me feel I was family. I’ll continue to remember her like that as she is now in Jehovah’s memory and will be back with all her family soon.

Lucinda was an awesome person. She like the rest of us had troubles and wasn't perfect but the thing I appreciated the most about Lucinda is that she never complained. Whatever life threw at her she rolled with it and her faith in Jehovah's promises kept her going right down to the end. I can't wait to see her again smiling and full of life.

This is a tough one to handle for me. Its hard to put in words how much I will miss my Aunt. It hurts that she is gone and it just shows that this life isn't fair. She was so strong down to the very end. One of our last conversations is something I will never forget. She show so much faith and trust in the hope for a future paradise. I can't wait to see her again.
Aunt Cinda I love you.
See you very soon.

Lucinda (in Latin) means “bringer of light”. We see this as a true description of her as she always brought comfort and hope to others. Lucinda Hunt was a daughter, a mother, a sister, an aunt, a wife, and a grandmother. Not only did she have these roles to play but she also was a friend. Lucinda was caring. She was remarkably bright and loved others unconditionally, flaws and all. Yes, it is sad to see her go but she will always be here in our hearts. Her loving and warm hearted personality will always be remembered, she as a whole is unforgettable. All the good Lucinda has done in her life and all the love and kindness she showed for others will be in Jehovah’s memory forever.

Matthew 26:13 “Truly I say to you, wherever this good news is preached in all the world, what this woman did will also be told in her memory.

Resilience… that’s what always comes to mind when we think about “Lu” as I called her. Her face should be next to the definition in the dictionary which says that Resilience is “ the ability of a person to adjust to or recover readily from illness, adversity, major life changes, etc.; buoyancy” -Dictionary.com. Whoever knew Lucinda, watched her, loved her.. knew that she truly embodied resiliency , I really can think of no greater example when I think of someone’s full journey through life spiritually & physically. Lucinda truly lived, “down but not out”. With all her toughness however, she was truly one of the nicest, most caring and peaceful individuals we’ve known. Among all this, her spiritual endurance is what stands out the most. Probably her finest witness for me, is watching how she kept fighting for Jehovah, no matter the odds. Truly a Modern day example to reflect on and draw courage and strength from. I’m convinced Jehovah will not forget her loyalty to him. Lucinda truly lived what’s cited at 2 Corinthians 4:16-18: |https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/b/r1/lp-e/nwtsty/47/4#study=discover&v=47:4:16-47:4:18|
Lucinda won’t be forever missed, but she will be missed just a little while, at least until we are able to rejoice when we see her again. - With Love & Sympathy- Chris & Nitra Davis ❤️❤️❤️

AsI look back at the life of our dear friend Lucinda we are grief stricken. She was a gentle spirit with a beautiful smile. She never had a negative word to say about anyone and that's what made her special or a rare gem. You will never know how much of an impact you had on my life and you will always be my true sister in the faith. I look forward to seeing your smile again but under better conditions, in Jehovah's New World.
With love, Denise Scott

I didn't know Lucinda that well, but from the few times I met and talked to her, I firmly believed she was a quality person and she was surrounded by a loving and supportive family. It was a honor to have met her. And that smile she had was just beautiful. You've gone on a trip for right now, and I look forward to your return and that we will never lose you again.

My dear sister Lucinda will be missed very much. I truly love her with all my heart. The continuous tears that I shed are the emotions that well up inside of me when I think about her. She was one of our five that is now four. My Brother Karl and I will keep Michelle & Colleen safe in between our arms to help them feel the love. Lucinda made a request that we take care of each other and stay close as we presently are. That’s exactly how it will always be, we love each other very much. It’s hard and it’s difficult to fully express how I feel but know this, Cinda was so much fun to be around; I love her dearly. Towards the end of her life I’ll never forget the night when Colleen told her I was there and she smiled. That smile will always be in my memory until I see her again.

My cousin Lucinda, I so remember all the fun we had growing up.  Riding our bikes to Genesee Park, swimming, roller skating, sleepovers, and just having so much fun.  I will always cherish our times together and wished that we could have had more time when we got older.  I will always cherish the memories we had.

Loving Until The End

Cinder, as I called her, could always give you encouragement when you least expected it.  With everything she had going on in her life, she always found time to give me encouragement to keep pressing forward.  When I went through my divorce she always told me to keep my head high for Savannah and to not stress about what I can't change.  Even into her final weeks she gave me encouragement.  I was sitting on the bed with her nursing Wes and she rubbed my back and told me to keep up the good work and she was proud of the woman I have become.  She said I was a good mother and she wanted me to stay strong and keep my faith and continuing  relying on Jehovah  so he can keep blessing me.  As much pain as she was in at that moment she still built me up when it should have been the other way around.  I will never forget that moment and I can't wait to see her to see her again to tell her that I did exactly as she suggested.  We lost one of our rocks in the family.  That I'd a void that will never be filled.
Love you Auntie Cinder
