The daughter of the late John, Sr. and Emma Tucker Pugh, Mrs. Albritton was born in Talbotton, GA. She attended Savannah and Columbus State Universities, who taught in the Muscogee and Talbot County Schools. Her final tenure was at Harrison Avenue Elementary School. She also was an Ourtreach Social Worker with Columbus Park and Recreation, and was an LPN at St. Francis Hospital. She was the founder and president of the Seniors on the Move Community Organization, and was a member of Spirit, Truth and Liberty Ministries.

She was preceded in death by her husband, El Douglas Albritton, Sr., a son, John W. Hall, and three brothers.

Surviving are: two sons, El Douglas Albritton, Jr. (Eileen) and Wardell Albritton; one daughter, Rev. Charlotte A. Edwards; four grandchildren, Gleana R. Albritton, Andrea M. Abritton, Brandon K. Edwards and Natalie A. Hall-Sharper; one great grandchild, Da'Glacia S. Sharper; other relatives and friends.
