I Miss You Mom Poem (author unknown)

I thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday,
And days before that too.
I think of you in silence,
I often speak your name.
All I have are memories,
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is my keepsake,
With which I’ll never part.
God has you in his keeping,
I have you in my heart.

I love you and miss you so much mom.

Mom, you were always full of life, spreading your love and laughter to everyone around you. I miss you everyday. You are always in my heart. I love you!

Mom, it’s been 14 years and I miss you everyday of my life. You graced our lives with your happy spirit. You taught me to always be giving and forgiving and the blessings will follow.

You are still living through your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren! Thank you mom for always being there for us!

Mom, I think of you everyday.  I miss hearing your voice, your laughter.  I think of all the little things you used to do...like playing Kenny Rogers while cleaning the house, sitting under the mango tree on the front porch with your cup of tea, or dancing in the living room. So many beautiful memories to share. You are “forever missed” by all. I love you. Always keeping her in heart and prayer. She was a mother to all and we all pretty much have the memory of tea time with her and let's not forget the toast.  Most of the time gatherings were held at their place with lots of laughter, great food, and family time. I am so upset with myself for missing out on this very special time. I was so prepared mentally and physically for Saturday. I made sure I was off. Too late I found out that it was Friday night and I had to work. But I was most certainly there in spirit! Love to all the family!

Tea time was always such a nice time! I also cherish the memories of touring her gardens. She would show me all her favorite plants and tell me all about how they grew or where she got them; especially all the hibiscus!

I have a lot of memories of Auntie Lucy, but one of my favorites is spending quality time in the kitchen with my French Bread she'd but me, me Scrambling Eggs and Momma Lucy making me Tea w/Carnation Milk & 2 Squares of sugar. Miss and Love You all...Jesse Boy
