My Brother in Law

May 9, 2017

When I was just 14 years old, I met Louie at the video store on Beach 25th Street in Far Rockaway, where I worked part time. He was so funny and sweet. We hung out together from time to time. All laughs and fun. Shortly after that, I met his brother Alexie, who I married and loved so very much. Louie went from a Friend to a Brother in Law, and he was the best. Very nice, sweet and respectful all the time. He watched out for me like a big brother and welcomed me into his family with open arms. We lived together in New York as well as in Florida, and all I have is great Memories of him. The entire Rodriguez family accepted me, watched out for me, taught me things, gave me a home and loved me as I did all of them. I have so many awesome stories that I will leave for another time. Although my time with Alexie is now over, his family has always shown and still shows me nothing but love.
Thank You all for being my family then and now. God Bless you, Lou. You will always be in my heart and always be my Brother in Law.

Love you always, Nandy Rodriguez
