The first year anniversary of Luke's death was the worst. It was like reliving it all over agian. I miss my son, my friend, my buddy. I miss I the laughs, he was much more than just my son..... I love you Luke!

I would tell Luke this every birthday.... I remember taking naps under his crib while he slept as a baby, I would wake to find his smiling little face with two little white shining at me, his big baby blue eyes and cotton blonde hair peeking over the end of his crib at me. I would hear a giggle as to let me know mommy time to get up. He would drop his little stuffed giraffe on my face if I didnt hear his giggle right away. What a very fond memory.....everytime I would start the story....he would say I know mom I know..... but you know I know that he loved to hear it..... only last year I didn;t get to tell him. But thanks to my sister Julie I did get to write it on a balloon and send it to him. :)

Short lived, well loved and liked. Hard working, he got that from me :D    He would come home from a day at work no matter what the weather and cook dinner for us, he would take out the trash, he would make me tea when I was sick and always Pick on us and make us laugh. Our protector, he pulled his weight, and more than at most. I am honored to call him son. and that God gave me the strenght to handle whatever hand he delt to me. This one just ablut killed me. Mercy..... :(      Love you always Mom.....watch your six...

He and his Best Friend Ryan Streeter played at a small coffee shop in Underhill. the kids and I would take him and listen to them and loved it. we were his biggest fans. Dont get me wrong they didnt always get along like siblings do, but Life was Good. and I know I got to him some times. I must admit the first time that I heard him sing I got chills.

Luke started imitating movie stars and people at a very young age and never stoped, I thought that he could have been a stand up comedian. Jim Carey, Mr Herbert, a few Air Force Captains, Sargents, among other ranks, that is a short list of many, he had an incrediable voice, amazing guitar player. with out any lessons or choir. He was a young old soul. I remember the guys at Lackland AFB nick named him Grand Pa. He was remember and Loved by many.

Luke Attended Boy Scouts in South Hero Vermont when we lived in South Hero abouve the Fish and Tackle Shop owned by my friends Mary and Mike Larow.
He attended Folsom School in South Hero Elementary School and his daycare was right beside it with Sue. She had horses, He went there with his sister Leona Wamsley and brother Lloyd Rollins.

I was playing mario on a game boy, I was 18 years old, and Dion was the same age. We were young and silly kids ourselves. I was in high school and being tutored my Mrs. Ralston. I remember not haviing to carry around that silly egg around because I had a baby, but I was not alone  so didnt other girls in my class, there were a few of us three of us had 3/14/68 for our birthdays , What does that tell you. Any way it was a 17 + hour labor and then poof a beautiful baby boy.  Daddy could not have been prouder. :) Me either! What a gift he is a was.
