His Life

Luke Skywalker

June 13, 2013

Thank you all for joining us in the celebration of Luke’s life.

Born on Thanksgiving Day 1979 Luke was not a fussy baby, a happy little boy, but a shy and fragile child. He was a tactile learner, who learned to read by the time he was 13 by studying baseball stats. When he graduated high school we played the theme from “Mission Impossible”. He enjoyed playing baseball and basketball and he was a pretty good skateboarder. He was in the top of his class at Lincoln Tech. Luke was a good and honest mechanic-working on the trains @ the CTA and cars at several different repair shops in the area. Luke had a beautiful wife, who I refer to as “sweet Melissa”. The joy of his life were his boys. Luke loved his family – always wanting to get together with everyone whenever possible. He was fun loving, sensitive, and caring. I would like to think of his legacy as a laugh, a hug and a funny smile.
