On July 8th, 2021, her mother's birthday at the age of 6, Lydia drew her last breath after a long courageous battle with cancer.  Being initially diagnosed at 18 months she beat cancer many times over.  Discovering this past spring that her leukemia had returned, she fought bravely, proudly, and like the true hero, she had grown into.  She spent her time leading up to her battle enveloped by love, laughter, and the warm embraces of all who cherished her.  She is loved and missed by many people, the entire world over, and her absence has rippled through many communities and lives.  Lydia will be lovingly remembered by her mother Ashleigh, her sisters Eimilie and Eve, and her brothers Aric and Ryker as well as a large number of family, friends, and cancer warriors.  The family would like to thank the home health care team of Haldimand Norfolk, the first responders, and the hospice staff at the Steadman home in Brantford.  Lydia was a light that touched everyone who met her and her infectious smile and attitude will be forever missed by all who knew her.  We would like to thank everyone for their continued support and love during this time.
