From Muriel:

My Mum..My love..My life.
Job asked.........

14If a man dies, can he live again? I will wait all the days of my compulsory service Until my relief comes.
15You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands 14:14,15

Through the book of John we have the promise from our father, of a resurrection.....Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out .

I hope and pray by God's grace that we will see each other again in paradise.

I have so much to tell you.

You are sorely missed..but until then....

Sleep well mum..Sleep well..

You were precious a gift from God, so much beauty, grace, love and patience you possessed. You touched our hearts in so many ways, your strength and smile even on dark days made us realize we have an angel beside me. May your soul and the souls of the faithful departed , continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord until the last day of the resurrection, when we shall meet again . Amen !

I can only speak of what I know of Auntie Lydia. She was the loving, caring lady from my childhood through to adulthood, with an uncanny resemblance to her sister (my mother) Augustina. She was mischievously adorable but with a quiet authority that only the foolhardy would test. She was the focal point of the family, is greatly missed and will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Auntie and blessings to the family she had to leave behind.

I was at your graveside this morning. It struck me that one thing I'll always be grateful for is that you birthed Rodger. Thank you and keep on blessing him and the rest of your offspring and loved ones.
I'll always remember your smiles and the uncanny ability to judge character. Auntie Naami, enjoy heaven and keep on smiling in His bosom till we meet again. RIP.

2 Corinth. 5:8 has helped me during this past couple of years. There is one thing I am confident with and I know Paula and Mom are with the Lord. And one day we shall see them again. My greetings to all. Stay blessed.

My goodness...1 year seems to have passed so quickly...life sometimes gets in the way of meaningful moments like today, so I was glad to read this messages and Isaac's message on FB. I am sure Auntie Lydia is resting peacefully. Blessings Rodger.

One year on, your memory is as vivid as if your passing happened just yesterday.

I personally ask a lot of questions, trying to go into your mind to see what informed some of your actions but I guess I can never understand the love and ways of a mother.

You have played your part.

Rest in perfect peace

My very dear auntie Naami. All too soon a year is gone. I must confess that last chirstmas was very different. I didn't get to do my ritual visit to you for those discussions and humorous moments. Just to let you know that we miss you dearly. May you continue to rest in the Lord's bosom till we meet again.

We love you
