Lyla Dillaha Elliott, 75, a resident of Granville County, passed away at her home on Friday, April 27, 2012.

A native of Napoleon, North Dakota, the daughter of the late Dena Gross Plum Dillaha, a member of Grace Baptist Church and a retired accountant with Beverly Enterprises.  She was a well loved and respected by her friends, family and community.

Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Monday, April 30, 2012 at Grace Baptist Church in Oxford by Dr. Cecil Newton.  Burial will be in South Granville Memorial Gardens in Stem.

Surviving is her husband, Marvin Ray Elliott, of the home, two daughters, Deborah D. Gaskins (Christopher) of Cookeville, TN, Elizabeth D. Edwards of Kennesaw, GA, three step-sons,  Gary Elliott of Creedmoor, Rodney Elliott of Franklinton, Marvin Elliott of Oxford, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, Sunday, April 29, 2012 at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and other times at the home.

Flowers permitted or memorials contribution may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 407 Broad Street, Oxford, North Carolina 27565.
