Our memories would forever live in my heart. Everyone who met you experienced love. Your assignment here on earth was to simply love and you brought different cultures together with that love. My sister, my neighbor, my confidant, my children’s Auntie Linda rest in light now, Thank you for teaching us all how to Love. Your legacy of love will live on!
Peace and light Sis!❤️

Today, as we all bid farewell to a soul that graced our lives with a presence that was nothing short of a blessing, we at Gibson Compound stand humbled and honored, to pay a tribute that seeks to encapsulate the essence of a person who has impacted our lives. A lovely soul who taught us to live with zest, to love with depth, and to forge ahead with a spirit that knows no bounds.

As we say our goodbye, we carry with us a treasury of memories, a heart that is filled with love, and a spirit that is emboldened by the lessons imparted by a soul who was a guiding star in the firmament of life.

Rest forever in peace Lynda. You will forever be in our hearts ...

Lynda, your sudden death was a shocker to me. Glad we spent the nights together in the same bed on December 21st- 23rd, 2023. You promised to come spend some time with me after your surgery...that didn't happen. Instead, we are planning your funeral. Thanks for the time we shared together from Liberia to the USA. You were a part of our family living under the same roof. Your memories will forever be in my heart. Take your rest my darling sister....still remember our last conversation while we slept together bringing back memories of yester years. Love you even in death. RIP

In loving memory of our dear friend and former high school colleague at Ricks Institute in Virginia, Liberia, Linda, whose fiery spirit and unwavering honesty were matched only by her heart of gold. Though she spoke her mind with boldness, her kindness and warmth touched us all deeply. Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will forever be cherished. Rest in peace, sweet darling, you will be dearly missed.

Gbelly,

I can’t believe you are really dead. It all happened so quickly. You were admitted to St. Michael’s Medical Center January 13 and was dead by January 27th, exactly two weeks later. It seems as if someone pulled a rug from under me. Wow!

Immanuel (Tootsy) and I visited you on Sunday, January 21st. Although sick and a little out of breath, you were in good spirits, joking and teasing. You said your pastor and his wife had visited you just before we got there; and you told us the nurses were saying you had so many visitors. You thanked us again and again for going to see you.

Yes, humility and gratitude were two of your attributes. You would say, “thank you, thank you very much” over and over for the smallest favor or for just a phone call.

Every time I talked to you, you would ask for my son: “Sister Adri, how’s your son?”

You were loved dearly, and you will be sorely missed by all your family and friends. I hope and pray that family and friends will use this website to share memories of you.

Lots of Love,

Sister Adri
