"Lynette was one of those life forces--whenever we'd go out, no matter what we were doing, she'd always manage to put me in a great mood.
I have also forwarded this news to the other members of our former dance troupe. They are equally devastated.
Thank you for letting me know. I will always have fond memories of Lynette."
Robin from Troupe du Jour, Lynette's NYC dance troupe

Her name is Lynette Manai. She was my dear sweet friend. She was vibrant and funny and smart And kind. She was full of love. Our hearts are so broken. We will never hear her laughter or see her sunny smile again. We will never be able to tell her how much we love her ever again. This egotistical driver has killed a woman who was a gift to our world. She has ruined the lives of her family and friends. Her husband is inconsolable with grief. His precious angel is gone.

Lynette will be missed by so many. She was definitely a bright light. I was so sad to hear of her passing and sadder still that I have not seen her in so long. She was beloved by her family and I am so sorry she was taken way too soon from all who loved her so much. Cousin Heather

"I went to Sunday School with Lynette (of course you & Jeff were there too, just in younger classes). She is such a joy. I will miss her - even just knowing that she’s not here any more. Warm affection to you & your family. I’m so sorry."

"I remember Lynette as having an effusive and bubbly personality while she and my brother Steve were dating in high school. She loved speaking French around the dinner table - I thought she was so chic! She was always so kind to me and my mother. I am deeply sorry for your family’s loss, a life ended far too soon and tragically."

"I'm so very sorry for your loss.Lynette and I graduated together. I remember her being upbeat, sweet and smiling even in early morning homerooms and as her tribute said a friend to all. Sounds like she made the most of her brief time on this earth and was surrounded with the love of family and friends. Hoping that brings your family some comfort at this most difficult time. "Lynette was always a light and a breath of fresh air. My favorite quality of hers, and the one from which I take inspiration, is that she was always unapologetically herself. She was comfortable in her own skin and emanated love and laughter."
