Lynne was born to loving parents Norman and Sheila Nelson on 28 September 1948.
She had fond childhood memories growing up as the big sister to Jenny, Peter and Trish.

During her school years, Lynne worked hard and developed a love of reading and art.
She was a loyal and caring friend who valued and nurtured those friendships into adulthood.

On 12 February 1977, Lynne married her soul mate, Peter Hetem, and their unconditional love for each other lasted a lifetime. Together, they had two daughters, Claire and Robyn.

Lynne's motherly love grew with the expansion of her family to include 2 sons-in-laws (Gary and Maartin) and four beautiful grand children (Ethan, Emily, Paige and Ayden).
