Hi Mom, you have had quite the reunion today. First your son-in-law Bob, then Lois and Aunt Kate, not far behind. Our loss is your gain! To be with Lois once again, must be heartfelt joy for you. Knowing you were there to meet her, makes it just a bit easier to say goodbye!
I think of you often. I love you and miss you always!

Happy Birthday Mom! We are all doing well. Doing the everyday things is rough, especially today. We should be having a party for you, instead we planted flowers on your grave. I miss you so much! Come by for a visit, if you can. Tell everyone hello. I love you!

I'm so glad I got the chance to know you. Even if for only six short years. I loved to sit and listen to the stories you would tell when " Kathy sue" and I would come to visit. Your laugh was infectious and always made me smile. You will always have a special place in my heart. I love and miss you.

Country Christmas

October 12, 2015

My Grandma loved Christmas and for years she hosted a family Christmas party the saturday before Christmas and the whole family would come. We would have dinner and open gifts. Grandma bought for everyone and everyone bought for Grandma.
This paticular year she purchased the most in style baby doll for all the granddaughters. Except for me, the youngest. She had bought me a black sparkly shirt to match the one that she wore at the party.
I ran upstairs hid in the bathroom and cried like the ungrateful brat that I was.
I eventually calmed down and started to enjoy that Gram and I were twins.
There is not much I would not give to have her here this Christmas to match with.

I love you Grandma! This first Christmas will be so hard, I loved the challenge in shopping for the woman who had everything.
