Sissy Mabel, our eldest sister, words can hardly express how much I feel your departure. Your physical presence will be dearly missed, but precious memories will always be in our hearts and in our minds. As we say goodbye to you today, crying with tears rolling down our eyes and cheeks, we will find solace that you are in God’s care in heaven watching over us. May the Almighty God, our Father, who you serve spiritually grant your soul eternal rest.

On behalf of the Seisay family. We sincerely express our appreciation to the Almighty God and to all our friends and well wishers who by their prayers, presence, contributions and support, assisted us to give our sister, mother, grandmother and aunty a befitting farewell. May God bless you abundantly!

In times like these we look to God. My words may not provide the solace and comfort we all seek after the loss of our beloved, Auntie Mabel, but we should know that we are not forgotten and that most importantly we will never be alone because Auntie Mabel is now with God and God is always with us. God never forgets his children as Auntie Mabel never forgot her own. In this time of pain and loss, I pray that God will cover our entire family and all those who knew Auntie Mabel with the ultimate peace and understanding, that every one of our memories shared with Auntie Mabel will bring us reflections of all the joy, love, and light she shared throughout her life. To Uncle Dad, Rugie, and Karimpa, I know with the utmost certainty that when the loved ones in our family die they join with those who have preceded them and as Grandma Seisay said join the care of God. I am sorrowful to see Auntie Mabel leave us so soon, but I smile remembering the memories I have shared with her. Auntie Mabel will now know eternal peace and is now in God’s care. Until we meet again.

Mummy ... I feel incredibly weird every time someone mentions your passing. I can't believe you are actually gone. It's so final. How could you die an hour after my departure? That cold December day was a complete write off. Upon arrival I sat at the airport for 4 hours... numb

So heartbreak is really a thing? Sometimes I replay your voice notes on WhatsApp just to hear your voice...

It is weird that I actually believe you are in the best place. You have earned your place where it matters the most. I love you and I know I am going to start bawling when I see you again in a few days.... this time sleeping, motionless... no smile or gist . Who can I pour out my heart to without judgment ? My biggest cheerleader and strongest critic. I am going to miss you .

Thank you for teaching me to be God fearing, honest, fearless and strong... to be confident and ambitious, to have integrity and do everything in good taste. I am grateful to have had the privilege of spending the last days of your life with you ... and nothing changed ... you were still "get na Han" and outspoken just the way I like you.

You made the smartest decision in your forties ... forsaking all others, the pleasures of the glamorous world and chose instead to seek God's face. It was a tough test but mother you have passed with flying colours.Even on your death bed you praised God and shared bible stories.

You Mabel are my angel....

Mummy

January 2, 2018

Mummy was a source of inspiration to me.

Mummy was relentless in accomplishing God's purpose on earth.

Mummy had strong values in the Lord

She was kind, loving, strong ......

Mummy was a fighter.

Her life gave me a new insight on what genuine love is

Her LOVE for:

GOD

FAMILY

HER CHILDREN (Rugiatu Wurie Lamin and Karimpa Dad Karim)

FRIENDS and INDIVIDUALS who crossed her path was

UNCONDITIONAL

She loved children. She was a teacher at the Freetown Children Bible Training Center. She latter became the Childrens director at the FCBTC. She devoted her latter part of her life in providing counsel and support to marriages that were experiencing chaos. Her love for those around her attracted many others

I thank GOD for HER LIFE

YOU WILL FOREVER REMAIN IN MY HEART

I LOVE YOU MUMMY

KARIMPA
