His Life
August 17, 2012

Mack Arthur Ballard Jr. was born August 22, 2000 to dedicated parents Leenora Bell (Senoia, GA) and Mack Arthur Ballard Sr. (LaGrange, GA).

At a very young age he was baptized and attended the Mt. Venus Baptist Church in Gay, GA. In 2003 Mack was diagnosed with Leukemia and it was determined then that Mack was a fighter for life. He then went into remission. Mack relapsed in 2005 (there he was again fighting for life), and in 2011 Mack relapsed again, with much hope the doctor suggested Bone Marrow Transplant. Mack fought and fought for his life.

Poplar Road Elementary Principals, Teachers, Staff and Students always showed great guidance and support reassuring him that he was loved still a part of the family.

Mack was a man of sports – its b-ball time New York Knicks and Mack loved football. His favorite team was University of Alabama Crimson Tide (yeah baby). He really wanted to be a part of the team. Not only was Mack a sportsman but he also excelled in school and was an honor roll student.

Lil Mack loved playing video games and tapping on his computer as all kids do. He loved laughing and cracking jokes (especially on the nurses at Elgeston Children Hospital) on his good days. Mack’s smile was one of the greatest parts of him. He was a loving, respectable, and an easy child.

He is survived by his loving, caring and supportive mother, Leenolia Bell (Senoia, Ga.), and father Mack A. Ballard Sr. (LaGrange, Ga.), brother Rico Reed and Kiara Artist (Senoia, Ga.), sister Lashandis Ballard (Gay, Ga.) , sister Amanda Ballard (Lutherville, Ga.), brother, Brandon Ballard (Fayetteville, Ga.), niece Maliah Reed(Senoia, Ga.) grandmother Pauline Bell (Senoia, Ga.), grandmother Bertha Ballard, great grandmother Arzella Russell, and a host of aunt, uncles and cousins. Preceded by late grandfather Charlie Bell, late Deacon A.C Ballard (Gay, Ga.).
