April 12, 2021
If I had control over time,
I would quickly turn back its hands to 11:45pm,
In a 24th day of February, year 2021,
For there are a lot more to tell you.
“…trade cautiously where fears grow deeper,
And learn to illuminate your inner light where the night becomes darkest…”,
Golden words now painted and stamped on the sands of time and ages;
Oh our fountain of wisdom, oh our stream of knowledge.
Your seeds sprang forth in far and near,
With honey taste, many scrambled for a taste,
Oh how privileged it was have you as grandmother,
An opportunity I shall forever be grateful to the creator.
Now that your maker has called upon you,
Get your wings ready to fly as high as the heavens,
To leave this mortality behind you,
And enjoy all of heaven’s glory.
Your husband, my grandpa beams a smile,
For he has waited this long in heaven for mama to come,
Now this reunion gift the angels a long awaited party,
Please be there to bring mama home.
Sleep on my heroine!
Sleep on the peacemaker!
Sleep on mama!
Rest in perfect peace Nkoyo Effiom Udoedemeka!
