Almost a year!

August 5, 2014

My grandma was always a kind and considerate women, she always fought for what she believed in. She was greatly missed this past year. She inspired greatness beyond what she knows she is imagined to know May great things. This year is different she has been gone for a year now! Twenty-five days from now will mark a year. And it only seems like yesterday! So much has happened in the year. Some of which I would love to share with her. My inspiration maybe gone but her presences still around and I am remember of her every day!

A Story where words that are all that are left of a memory!

December 23, 2013

A Story where words that are all that are left of a memory! A dream that is forgiven to have shattered my heart my grandma has left this world and joined the world of the angels, though time given the passage to watch over us from heaven and give us peace. A dream that will never fade a memory that will never separate. Blessed is the journey that hasn’t ended even though your departed your still will me in my heart I love you grandma!

My earliest memory

September 26, 2013

When arriving home in 1981 in December my grandma was there waiting for me to arrive, my grandma picked me up and cradled me in her arms and told me that she loved me and we will have the best time getting to know one another.  My grandma started from that day of being my best friend and my forever angel.

Any time there was a scary experience I was going through she always told me it would be alright. Growing up with my grandma was the best experience she was always there to listen and to spoil. Next Came Darren, my cousin who was a cute baby and even though there was more than one grandchild there was no time that each grandchild got more time with grandma. Our spending time with grandma and grandpa was an epic experience to the golf area in the house or the shopping we did! Next was my cousin Kenny who was born to the endless times of love and understanding we all experienced with our grandma.

There is something that people don’t know about my grandma we had backwards dinners. Meaning we would go to a restaurant and have desert first then the rest of the meals. Or going into the upstairs closets and going through endless boxes of pictures of people we didn’t even know. Going to grandma’s house was an endless treasure hunt, in pictures or in memories that they wanted to share with.

Going to grandma’s house was always fun. We were always spoiled with breakfast with ice cream or oatmeal. Our meals with grandma were special and always welcoming.  When we were little my grandparents lived on Fox Meadow Rd and the house had a hill. It was a wonderful sledding event.

Over the next few years hanging out with grandma was special. I have grown to share an epic experience with my grandma and shared many special birthday, anniversaries, and special events. I am glad I got to spend 31 years with my grandma was very special to me.

I will forever miss her, but she will be my forever angel. I love you grandma!
