Her Life
October 1, 2011

We went in and told him all about my previous pregnancy issues which included premature labor and delivery. He thought "no problem...we'll just go in at 16 weeks, stitch ya up, and we should be good to go". Well, before that happened I had some bleeding and cramping. I, of course, felt as though something just wasn't right. I called the doctor crying and thinking I was miscarrying. Dr. Susa was so wonderful. He immediatley did an ultra sound and did blood work. Even though the blood work said that my hormone level was more than doubling, as it should, I had still prepared myself for what I THOUGHT would be the worst loss....a miscarriage. I went in for the ultra sound and I told him not to sugar coat it and just tell me what he thought. He said it didn't "look like a normal, healthy pregnancy".  But after lots of looking, he FINALLY saw a little "yolk sac". RELIEF!!! Praise God! For the next several weeks I walked around on egg shells. Finally, I  made it to 16 weeks. Time to stitch me up and keep that baby in to cook as long as God would allow.

We're Pregnant!!!

October 1, 2011

It was hot in July when Jeremee and I talked about adding to our family. I knew I didn't want to be pregnant through the hot summer, so we decided to start trying right away. We bought all sorts of ovulation test, pregnancy test, and vitamins. Two months later we had created our sweet baby. We were SO excited. I went in to the doctor and it was confirmed. We made our first appointment with Dr. Jonathan Susa. Little did he know what he had in store for him.
