Madelyn (McGarvey) Bousquet of Punta Gorda, FL passed August 29, 2017.
Madelyn was the loving wife of Robert
Bousquet. She was formally from Long Island, NY until
moving to MA to be near her family. She lived in Palmer
for 30 years and was last employed at UMass Amherst where
she made an impression on every one she met. Her hard work
was recognized with a Commendation Award for Outstanding
Service. She retired after 23 years and moved to Punta
Gorda, FL. Her interests were in gardening, reading,
music, cooking and had a passion for remodeling homes.
Madelyn was an excellent and competive Cribbage player.
She played in many tournaments throughout New England and
Florida making friends along way.
Madelyn was preceded in death by her parents John and Lillian Vogl
and her sister Ginny Vivenetto. She is survived by her
sister Shirley Quarentello of TN.
She will be sadly missed by her two daughters:
Michelle Ford and Monique Chapman, both of Three Rivers,
MA. She also leaves five grandchildren, five great
grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
