Madison Rae Staheli Sweitzer

St. George, UT- Madison Rae Staheli Sweitzer, age 29, passed away June 22, 2015 at her home in Clinton, Utah. She was born June 15, 1986 in Bountiful, Utah, to Kole Staheli and Dawn Bylund. She married her best friend and the love of her life, Matt Sweitzer, on September 4, 2010 surrounded by family and friends in in an open meadow under the sun in Paradise, Utah.
Madison was raised in Washington, Utah, and as her name says, was a “ray” of sunshine and touched many lives with her kindness and big heart. She graduated from Pine View High School in 2004. Madison spent many summers as a lifeguard and a highly sought after swim instructor. She excelled as a sales associate at Zumiez, and quickly became one of the youngest people within the company promoted to store manager, and was even recognized by the CEO for her honesty and integrity in operations. She had a love of all things fashion and music, but her true style and grace was her consideration of others and seeing the best in people.
Her greatest work was her family. She was the most loving wife and mother, doing everything she could to support and care for her husband and children. She made every day special with her high energy and enthusiasm and creative and artistic mind. She was always over the top with everything she did. Every holiday and birthday was full of magic and excitement for her children and all who joined in the fun. You always had a part to play when Madison was in charge. She loved to spread her love and she did it like no one else. She spent endless hours volunteering service to those in need, and also at the Clinton Parkside Elementary School, where her son Krue attended. She was very focused on education and fun and recently accepted the position of PTA president for the upcoming school year. She always put others needs in front of her own.
Above all she was a kind and compassionate person who loved unconditionally. Her deeds and actions endeared her to many. With her husband and children at the center of her world, Madison devoted everything in life to their happiness and success. She will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.     Her husband Matt Sweitzer, and children Krue and Axzelle Sweitzer survive her; as well as her father, Kole and Suzy Staheli, mother Dawn and Kent Bylund, brother Casey and Chantyl Staheli, sisters StarrLynn and Chad Woodbury, Jasmine and Seager Priest and brother Dylan Staheli. And many others some would call friends, but she’d call family.
A viewing will be held at Lindquist Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd, Layton, Utah, on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 6-8 pm.
A viewing service will be Sunday, June 28 from 6-8 pm and Monday June 29 from 9-9:45 am at the LDS Stake Center on Washington Fields Road, Washington Utah. Funeral services will be Monday, June 29, 2015 at 10 am at the same location.
