School
School was always a struggle for her, but when she was 11, we decided to send her to the Special School and it was a turning point in her life. She was the smartest kid in her class (thanks to Mick tables lessons as breakfast time), and she became a mentor to many if her classmates. It was there that she learned to cook, crochet and other life skills.
When she left school, she went to the Endeavour Foundation sheltered workshop. It was here she met life long friends, Jacki, Lynda, Annie and many more. She was the matriarch and often fought her friends battles for them with the staff. Her friends often rang her seeking advice and she enjoyed this role of mentor .
Madonna knew right from wrong and would argue to the end if she felt she was right. She was very wise in so many ways.
