Mae fought so hard against AML but after 8 years she lost her battle. Mae was first diagnosed with MDS which later developed into AML. She had to have many blood transfusions and went through several rounds of Chemo. Mae never gave up and didn't let her disease stop her from living. Eventually most of her time was in and out of the hospitals. She was loved so much by all of the nurses at Willis-Knighton 4E. They became part of her family. She loved them and they loved her just as much. Mae passed July 4, 2013 @ 2:55am in rm 449. The world lost a real treasure, a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend. More to be added

Mae, also referred to as Nannie by the loves of her life. Mae was the ultimate Grandmother, all the grandchildren meant everything to her. Mae had 1 grandson and 8 granddaughters.

Jacob, the first grandchild and only boy, was born in March of 1986. Son of Faith Sarah, first granddaughter, was born in August of 1988. Daughter of Faith
Lacey, second granddaughter, was born July of 1991. Daughter of Angel
Emily, third granddaughter, was born November of 1992. Daughter of Faith
Haley, fourth granddaughter, was born March of 1993. Daughter of Angel
Leah, fifth granddaughter, was born December of 1997 . Daughter of Faith
Rylee, sixth granddaughter, was born January of 2002. Daughter of Angel
Tiffany and Savannah, seventh and eighth twin granddaughters, born April 2005. Daughters of Angel.
