Magda Harout was born on April 22, 1926 in Los Angeles, California to Yeghishe and Gohar Harout. Her father Yeghishe (1989–1974) was born in Russian and was a renowned stage actor.
She married Robert Thomas Kardashian (b. 1920) on May 29, 1947 at the First Congregational Church in Los Angeles, California, and spent their honeymoon in Hawaii. Robert passed away on June 26, 1998 in Los Angeles.
Magda was a prolific actress in film and television and on stage, appearing in TV shows such as The Golden Girls, Six Feet Under, Without a Trace, Dr. Kildare, MacGyver, General Hospital, Newhart, and Seinfeld; and films including Hollywood Boulevard II, Baggage Claim and Transylvania Twist.
She sadly passed away on September 9, 2021, at the age of 95 in California.
