His Life

Eulogy

Malachi Ray was the sweetest, smartest, and strongest baby from the beginning. He had an old soul. When he was in my tummy I began calling him my little superman, because how strong he was. He would knock the wind right out of me. He wasn't playing, he wanted out! My labor was so smooth. He was so easy on his mommy. He came into this world very quickly, and with his superhero strength he saved the day.

Kai was a very smart baby. When he looked into his mommy or daddy's eyes he would reach his hands out to touch our faces. He bonded so closely with his little family. He absolutely radiated love to us. As long as his pacifier was in his hand, he knew how to take it out and put it back in. When laying on his tummy he was already starting to scoot. I remember once I had him on his tummy and he began to try to roll onto his back. He actually achieved making it to his side. He was much wiser than his age. We were truly amazed and proud of our little superman.
He had more love than words can express. His love radiated to his mommy, daddy, brother, and sisters. He brought a sense of peace over us. We were so worried when I was pregnant with him that Lai Lai would be jealous. She was not jealous at all. She was in love with him right away. Always kissing him, wanting to hold him, and even fell asleep next to him a few times. All three of them loved and adored him so much right away. Their faces lit up whenever they were near him or speaking of him.
He loved to lay on my chest. He would lay there ever so peacefully. I had trouble paying attention to anything for long because all I wanted to do was stare at him and kiss his sweet little face. I loved looking into his eyes as he loved to look into mine.
Even his cry was the most peaceful and sweetest sound you could ever experience. He would let out these cute little raspy warning cries, letting you know he's not serious yet but he was sure about to be.
Kai was about love. He came here to show us love is the only way. If it is not love it is not right. Do everything in love. Love each other to the fullest. Don't take anyone for granted. This is what Kai was about. This is why he was sent to us. His sole purpose was love and once he taught us this his purpose was served. God called his angel home.
