It seemed like it would shower when we least expected it.  We were going to my bosses wedding .  We drove down the shore in our under garments and our short robes; we did not want to wrinkle our outfits  Truck drivers with their view never entered  our minds setting out on this hot summer day.  We were bee bopping and before you knew we were  surrounded by trucks; trying to get our attention.  We we're not having any verbal communication that would have let the hot air in or possibly ruin our hair.  When we got to the shore we stopped at the house to put our outfits on as we were running late to get to the country club  for the celebration.  We got back into the car and on our way it starts down pouring   We got to the wedding and it never slowed downed the grounds appeared very muddy.  With no vallay parking we agreed after 15 mins of sitting in the car to bag the reception .  We did not want to ruin  our new outfits and my snake skin shoes. We  changed out of our clothes in  the parking lot of the country club and drove back home with our under garments and no robes, by this time they were packed away.  We were like Thelma and Louise carefree and living in the moment. As we approached  the highway  the sun came out and the rain stopped.  We rolled down the windows laughed, sang and communicated with all along the way.  We had so much fun skipping the wedding.  We arrived back home got changed into our new outfits and went clubbing for the evening.  We had such a great time we laughed and sang all day and met new people along the way and danced all night.
