She was the Big Mommy of the Family

June 7, 2021
She was the go to person for any form of advice and direction. My Mom and Dad always deferred to her.

She was the elder that represented my family during my wedding introduction and engagement. It was good to know that there was an elder that my family was accountable to. If anyone misbehaves, we knew who to report them to. lol.

I particularly remember her Feminine TV show Feminine Fancy which we used to watch regularly every week when we were young.

We were also privileged to attend her 85th birthday Anniversary 5 years ago. Rest on Mama. Well done

My Memory of Mama Adebajo

May 27, 2021
My earliest memory of Mama Adebajo was as a Primary School pupil, on an excursion to WNTV/WNBS in Ibadan. She was the most articulate beautiful woman I ever was, I also remember her anchoring “Women’s World” a feminine Program on television, She would advise women, talks to experts, working women, house wives and young ladies on how to be prim and proper. She was pioneer of women’s rights and how to break the proverbial “Glass Ceiling” and taking control of their homes and Fashion. She was an inspiring soul always there for all who came to her with their troubles with kind words and wise advice.
“Broadcasting is not just about going there to show Glamour or being projected on TV so that you became popular, You must be prepared to have something extra & Special to offer” Sunday Mirror Dec 13th 2013. Her words most recently, most of our so call media women could learn from Mommy.
In her later years, she was dedicated to the service of God, she would hold a conversation with whoever, with attention, panache and always have a pleasant demeanour.  I share same birthday with Mommy. in the 70s While in boarding School in Ogbogbo Ijebu, Mama always visit, reasons which i got to know much latter, I would always approach mama to say hello and good afternoon, of course there is always something for me.
Ronke & I deeply sympathize with you Kunle, Sylvia  & Ade on the death of your mother. We understand and empathise with the grieve in your heart. May Her Soul Rest In Peace.

Grandma you will forever live in our heart .  A rare gem with a heart of gold
You raised me like your biological daughter , your don't discriminate , you taught me to morally upright and keep right attitude.
The memory still linger when I got admission not only did you foot the bill, you sacrificed you time and followed me to the study centre and put everything in place. What else can I ask for?
Part of the lessons I learnt and would always keep to my heart is "Money isn't everything " having these right attitude and morals matters a lot  and above all you put my foot in the way of the Lord matters.
REST ON MUMMY
