Love and miss you!
This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Mandy Ruth Roland, 81 years old, born on January 27, 1940, and passed away on March 20, 2021.
Mandy Ruth Thompson-Patterson-Roland was born January 27, 1940, in Itasca, Texas to George Homer Thompson and Katie Victoria Johnson-Thompson. Mandy was the fourth child of seven daughters.
Mandy accepted Christ at an early age and enjoyed signing for the Lord. She went on to marry Emmett Patterson Sr. which four children were born during their union. Later in life on June 11TH, 1979, she married Jimmie Rogers Roland which one child was born during this union.
Mandy is preceded in death by her parents George Homer Thompson and Katie Johnson-Thompson; Sisters Annie Mae Thompson-Ellison and Mattie Pauline Thompson-Ellison; Children Emmett Patterson Jr. and Catherine Michelle Patterson.
She leaves to cherish her memories husband of forty-three years Jimmie Rogers Roland. Children Etta Jo Boyd(Eddie), Matthew Eugene Patterson(Yolanda) Earle Wayne Patterson ( LaKeysha), Antonia Danielle House(Scott), thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.
We will forever cherish and remember her forever.

What a Beautiful tribute for such a beautiful woman. Our children loved getting hugs and love from "grandma". We will miss her terribly, lots of love from the Sears.

I love you grandma it's hard but god took you in a better place so you won't suffer and I thank god he gave you life as my grandmother N mom because you told me about the gospel young and I still have it in my system and cant wait to tell my kids about God and jesus christ young like you did. Aunt Mandy you are singing with the angels now. When I hear "Precious Lord" I will automatically think of you. God allowed us to enjoy you/your gift until he needed you to lead his angelic choir. We love you and will miss you ❤

Mom I love you so much. There's not a minute that goes by that I don't think about you. I thought about you like that too when you were alive. I know we'll be together again someday. You're up there with our grandparents and your children, sisters and all the people you knew and loved here on Earth. My eyes are getting teary as I write this but I want to thank you for teaching us how to live and make it in this world. From cooking to all the techniques to care for a child when it's born into the world. I love you very much I miss your hugs, kisses and your warm touch very much.
