Universe saw you getting tired and a cure was not there so she put her arms around you and whispered “Come to Me”

Amma ... you spent your whole life ~~ decades and decades accumulating memories and associations. And this disease came in and ripped off everything. It really stealed who you are from you.

Unknowingly you gave me hard time which was not at all on your books. It was so pathetic to loose someone who is alive.
Some ignored you. Some stand by you and some made fun of you. Now you have become a memory for all.

We are thankful to Avitis, Dr Pravish & Care takers for all the support and care they showered on you.

On 24th July 2020 you completely stopped eating and you had to be fed through tube.
It was so pathetic to see you with tubes.

After regular checkup on the way back home we decided to have lunch from restaurant. After having Thali (which you enjoyed), you fainted and everybody rushed to you. Only me was there with you and got panic. Someone from the restaurant called for ambulance as you took more time to come back to sense. You were rushed to emergency and then was hospitalized for 2-3 days to rule out the causes. As usual you didn’t surrender to doctors and they concluded that it is because of old age !

On 27th March you woke me up telling that you had a fall. The sight made me almost faint even though you manage to clean the back of your head before waking me up as you were concerned about me.You were always bold enough to handle everything including your sickness and health issues.

you had to overcome a lot which includes Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, scoliosis, Guillain-Barré syndrome, uterine prolapse (surgery issues related to it), complication from ulcer, biopsies to rule out there is no side effect of RA medication as you started to show some symptoms, UB Prolapse and its complications etc etc.... Things had a sudden twist.....

another emergency visit to hospital. You had multiple issues more than a normal human can handle. I could understand it well as I was with you throughout your tough times.

Death tried to challenge you many times but being so strong you won. You surrendered when you were ready to climb the golden stairs.... it is already a month

You always read the obituaries section on the newspaper, and I’d ask you why you did so. I didn’t think you’d be on them so soon ..

You were so strong which is clear from the picture which I took when you were in the ambulance to City hospital, Dubai (10th July 2018).You always take your health issues lightly and rarelycomplain about it.

Amma’s Routine

This used to be your daily routine. Writing Narayananamam, I used to tease you and ask you whether you are ‘writing lines’ like a student.
