My heart goes out to all of Marc’s family, especially his wife and kids. I had the pleasure of working with Marc and also getting to fly with him. He was kind enough to share flying with me and my kids. He took us flying down to Galveston and back. He made it exciting, following the curves of the bayous. My son has gone on to become a pilot and I know he will always remember his early flight with Marc. I will miss him too. I pray for you in this time of sorrow.

To Mary and all of your family,

I want to pass on my condolences to you and your loved ones. Your mother, Margaret, is a dear friend of mine.
Our heart is aching for you right now. Looking at all of the pictures tells me what a great family man he was and shows how blessed you were to have met him.
We will be praying for all you as you grieve his loss, but keeping him close to your heart every day will help you heal.

Sending love and prayers to Marc’s family. Although , I never met his family I felt like I knew them because he spoke so loving of them.  Marc was one of the nicest guys I know. I worked with Marc and saw him when I traveled to Houston, however spoke with him many times on the phone especially this past year.  He was always everyone’s right hand man because he was someone you could count on. Reliable and genuine.  I look through all the pictures and see what an incredible life he lived and the love in the pictures show as much as the conversations we had about his love for family and flying. He will definitely be missed by many. Mary and family please know if you ever need anything we are here to support you.

Marc was such a great person who will be greatly missed. His quiet nature but strong outwardly helping hand to anyone. He wanted no recognition but gets a "God's Wink" that he had helped someone move further forward in life whether it being his family or friends. He will definitely be Jesus' co-pilot navigating others through life events. God bless Mary, Max, Luke, Rebecca and his immediate family members.

I first met Marc at Mepco..... not many years ago. We traveled together for Business and worked together at the Houston Facility.. I remember one trip together that we spent in Upper State New York...we traveled by car and by the time we got to our destination, I knew everything about his Family and I felt like I could have been his co-pilot the next time he flew.....we talked about flying for hours and I loved It ! I will always remember Marc as a soft spoken, genuine Friend... He will be missed and always remembered.....

His Life

Marc Granger

Marc is the best husband, father, son, and friend that we have ever known. His love of family and friends will continue even after his sudden passing. We will miss him each day but will continue to live each day to the fullest just as he did. Our hearts will forever be broken but we know Marc is with God and truly at peace knowing his wife survived to raise Luke, Rebecca, and Max. Marc lived by example and showed respect, integrity, and kindness to everyone he met. He was very loyal and if he said he was going to do something you know he would do it. Marc was hard working and the first one to offer help when someone was in need. His love for aviation was only second to the love of his family and both made his life full. Marc loved flying and was a natural pilot. Marc's legacy will continue on through his family and children. Marc is survived by wife Mary, children Luke, Rebecca, and Max. Also survived by his loving parents Lawrence and Sue, brother Monty and wife Debby, his aunt Debby and husband Scott, and aunt Betty.
We will forever miss you Marc.

Marc was a great person and Father to Luke, Rebecca, and Max.  It has taken me a while to write this as I don't have the words to express my gratitude towards his love and companionship he has unselfishly given to all 3 kiddos and Mary.  I could not have asked for a better person to be in the life of my two kids (Luke and Rebecca), that I love so dearly.  He was always there to provide guidance, love, and leadership.  I am heart broken both personally and for our family.  Marc, Mary, Myself, Ashley, and all the kids are one big family and no matter what life throws at us we will be there to support and love each other.  Marc will truly be missed, but our family knows that he is in heaven watching over us, and we will never forget him.

I knew Marc as a friend and colleague for 26 years.  Marc was a rare person with many talents, to numerous to mention.  He had a passion for life, flying, and most important his family.  I can never remember Marc ever having a frown on his face.  His face always lit up when you mentioned airplanes or family.  Marc lived life to the fullest, worked to support his passion for flying, and was a very proud father and husband.  He died doing what he loved, sitting next to the person he loved the most,  what more could you ask for.  I and everyone who knew Marc will miss him dearly.  I will miss those text I got regularly---Lunch???---

Mary, Luke, Rebecca, Max, and your extended family are in our thoughts and prayers.  Marc was a special guy and he left a lasting impression on all our lives.  I am certainly glad I had the opportunity to know and work with such a special person.
