Today would have been your 60th. Still think of you, knowing you're not far away. Grateful for all the life lessons we shared which are still with me. LYMF
It's so hard to believe it's been four years since Marcelyn died. I think about her often, especially when sharing her "LYMF" - "Love You My Friend." Fond memories, lots of laughter and wine, and still missed today... xoxox
Marcelyn, I think about you all the time. Everytime I see Art Decco, you are there. Every time I see someone taking the initiative, I think of you doing the same. We created such great memories from Spa Girls events, you'll always have me laughing. Continue in Peace - from your forever friend Barbaritta
How can it be that it's been two years? Seems like only a short time ago Jess and Marcelyn were sitting in our living room in Phx on a WICI trip ... not that long ago that we were all doing spa girlz trips ... and just hanging out with Marcelyn in Pasadena. Think of you often, especially during our latest spa girlz trip in Corona with Jess, and and hope you are at peace. LYMF, laurie
Was blessed to have coffee with our dear friend Lashawn today and she asked me something about you. This was before I remembered it has been 2 years since you "ascended." Our dear friend Laurie lost her beloved Geoff this past year. Life moves on but somehow you guys are always, always in my heart, with so much gratitude for your friendship all those years. You mattered. You matter.
Can't believe it's been more than a year since our friend Marcelyn passed away ... I think of her often, as I see a spa girlz mug, or the jewelry she made me, and many other times. I remember her great smile, that fun laugh, and her neverending friendship. LYMF...
Have been thinking of you. I did it - this past weekend I finished the slideshow I made in your honor. In fact, I ended up making 2 slideshows and I finished a 4-page letter to you that I started last year. I made the DVDs, now I just have to print, package, address and mail them out. Hope it brings great memories to our fellow SpaGirlz!
Marcelyn - you opened my eyes to so many things - the power of networking, singing, - and organizing (which you knew was a great challenge to me). Thank you for helping shape me in so many positive ways. Your other beloved friends and family share this feeling, as you can see on this web site. Rest forever in peace and satisfaction. luv Barbarita
Today would have been your birthday. Today I am thinking of you and all the love and laughter you brought to my life. You were the big sister I never had. The 25 years (1987-2011) of friendship we shared were amazing. Words could never describe how much you meant to me...to all of us. Sending you love and light today and always. LOVE YOU MY FRIEND - XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO
"Marceyln, meeting you at CSUF was one of my best experiences. You were warm, friendly and always supportive and for that I say thank you. I'm thankful for our friendship and look forward to seeing you again, my sister!
Looking forward to seeing all Marcelyn's friends and family at the memorial service Saturday ... Happy Birthday, Marcelyn -- hope you're soaring like an eagle, happy and pain fre! Laurie
Thank you Marcelyn for being a part of my life. You mentored me at a time when obtaining a college education was only a dream for me. Your guidance as part of the Career Beginnings Program made that dream a reality. I will be forever grateful for the impact you had in my life.
The color RED will always have me remember Marcelyn. I just can't believe I won't have more time and memories shared with her. My heartfelt prayers to her family.
Marcelyn - You will be so very missed. I can hear you singing right now with your glorious red dress. I will set up an art decco tribute to you since you loved that style so much. I'll never forget our Annenberger field trips. Love and peace forever - Barbaritta
I'm so saddened to hear of Marcelyn's death, and regret deeply that I was not in closer contact with her these past few months. Anne, Angela and Dianna, she loved you all SOOOO very much, and always talked about you! I hope she knows how much she was loved. I'll miss her.
It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye + remember my beloved "Auntie M". Her joy of life and contagious laugh was so infectious to be around that it is difficult to imagine I will not hear her voice again. I know she is singing, watching us all, dressed in her favorite color RED
Marcelyn, my "Forever Friend", you have changed my life and it simply won't be the same without you in it! You always called me "Annie" your Angel and now, you are "My Angel". I'll be watching and listening for you because we still have much to talk about! Keep on Dancing!XOXO
