Marcia was such a strong woman. Her conviction in the will of God in her life was clear by her outward confidence in her ability to trust in His word.

I will always hold dear the beautiful song she would sing as a trio with Sis Rawlings and Sapphire. Always sung with such a surety, and knowing Marcia’s personal testimony, it was clear that the Lord worked miracles in her life. 

We were truly saddened to hear of Marcia’s passing, especially knowing that as a church family we prayed so earnestly for her recovery the night before.

I take this opportunity on behalf of my immediate and extended family to offer our sincere condolences to the family. I pray that God will provide the comfort and support that is so precious and needed for such a time as this.

Sis Marcia -  Blessing in a bundle.
The moments are many, the memories so strong. From the sound of her beautiful soprano voice enhancing the praises to God delivered in The TWGR Chorale or the melodious harmonies resonating throughout the sanctuary when she sang in Trio with Sis Saphire and Sis Sharon, or just her special laughter that could crack any icy situation, whether shopping, working or at play, or her effervescent personality, the moments are indelibly written on my heart. 

We prayed, believing that God would heal her but never forgetting that He sees the first and the last. He allowed us to enjoy her company for nine years more. Though we mourn her loss and still have questions, we will continue to trust our God.

Rev.14:13, .......Blessed are the dead which die in The Lord from henceforth: yea saith The Spirit, that they may rest from their labours and their works do follow them.

Amen.

You are the one we adore
You give the healing and Grace our hearts always hunger for.

We will always remember you by this song. We will continue to pray for the family and may the Lord comfort them.
