Demery was attatched to my squad during training in Louisiana.   We had been out there in the swamp lands sweating and rolling around in poison ivy for what was already more than a week.  Everyone was miserable, exhausted, and itchy.  I remember Marcus, taking it all in, let out this Peter Griffin laugh that cracked everyone up.  He brightened alot of peoples lives, and his brightness hasnt been forgotten.  I miss this guy.   He was a genuinely awesome soul, and it sucks that he's gone.
