Nanna I miss you dearly. Sometimes I know you're around me I can actually feel you! Wish I could just talk to you and hear your voice one more time. So hard to believe it's been 3 years since you were relieved of your pain. I love you so much and miss you more than I can explain. Will always be thinking of you x x x

In the days before mobile phones an old man knocked on my front door. "are you Lesley" - "Yes, why" - "There's a lady on the phone at the phonebox-she said she's your Mum and could you be at the phonebox in 10 mins". I walked up and the phone rang and I heard "Hello Lovey, was missing you and had to hear your voice" - only my Mum would do that-all the way from Africa! Still makes me laugh

My nana was one of the most amazing women I ever met. As a child I always thought she was a queen when she visited from Africa. She would shower all of her family with love and affection. I truly believe she is a queen in heaven now.. Always in our thoughts and prayers nana.. We love you so much x. X x x x
