Yes, WOW! What a perfect party. You did good gals.
Maggie is lucky to have such a family to make her 70th a truly special event. It was such fun to have you plan it here in the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery.
Thank you for your generous contribution to the Virgin Valley Artists Association.
I hope that you may pass this message on to other family members, cause there is lots of stuff that I wanted to stand up and say to all but thought maybe this would be a better way to let the family know how much Maggie is loved by her admirers, friends of the Art Gallery and her community.
Maggie has been with the Artists Association for many years and she has spend lots of time doing the reception planning for artists and formal exhibitions, designing the art that gets hung on the gallery walls, she took care of everything for the kitchen area and made us use utensils to eat with and use the proper settings with the right colors, she now takes care of the volunteer desk for the Gallery. That means she sees to it that the days are filled in with the volunteers, she trains them on gallery and phone ediquet, she rushes in when some one is sick or needs to leave early, she is very supportive of the Artist's Studio and she shacks out there many times of the day to paint, she supports the VVAA's efforts to bring in art instructors, and even learns something new while having much fun, she and Steven even adopted a precious yellow cat from the studio that someone just dumped off. The cat, Arte, is the new toy that she and Steven can play with and Arte is so happy for that.
She is a treasure to us also. Her husband gets a big hug for putting up with the odd things and times she's had to run and do for the VVAA. Maggie will always be at her side anytime she needs us.
Thank you so very much for allowing the artists be a part of her life events.

President, VVAA
