Obituary

Margaret Louise Oglesby was born in Fayetteville, Tennessee on November 28, 1942 where she lived with her mother Annie R. Herring and stepfather Pat Herring. She separated this life May 11, 2022 at the age of 79 after a lengthy illness.

Margaret was preceded in death by Samuel Myers, Sr., Samuel Myers, Jr., and her daughter Angela R. Myers (Fuzzy).

Margaret leaves to cherish her memory her loving son, Mark Myers, and daughter, Theresa Preston, both  Dayton, Ohio; eight grandkids: Jason, Antoin, Mark Jr., Dori, Jazmine, Samasia, Damon, and Jordan; fourteen great-grandkids; five sisters: Shirley, Joann, Alma, Anna, and Debbie; two brothers: John and Glenn; lifelong friend John Jordan; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins that lover her dearly.

Margaret graduated from Roosevelt High School. She worked for Miami Valley Hospital, Yale Manor, and College Hill Church. Margaret was a church lady. She was a very active mom, always in the yard, loved BBQ, and taking things apart that were not working and when she finished, it was working again.

Mama will be so dearly missed. Love you, we’ll miss you cooking everything. See you later.
