Margaret Mills Williams, 98, died Thursday, June 28, 2018. She was born in Pitt County, January 8, 1920, daughter of the late Snode Mills and Vera Mills Kirkley and was preceded in death by her husband, Zeno Lewis Williams and son, Zeno Lewis Williams, Jr.
Mrs. Williams was a member of West Haven Presbyterian Church. She was an avid gardener and loved the beauty of her flower gardens. Mrs. Williams taught in the Rocky Mount Public School System for 33 years and adored the children she taught. She often spoke of those that left a special place in her heart.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Margo Williams Milford and Robert Milford, grandchildren, William Ryan Van Roy, Ashleigh Elizabeth Van Roy, and Jonathan Sterling Milford.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
