Dear Margie, I miss so much. Especially now as I grapple with my new life with my sister Camille. You were the voice in my ear with that simple phrase....you gone be alright baby. This day is special simply because it is your birthday. Your life continues to comfort, guide, and bless me. Thanks being a friend and a mom to me. May you watch over us all.

Happy Birthday Mother, you would have been 71 years old today. There isn't t a day that goes by that I don't miss you and think of you. I'm doing my best to be a great father to your grandkids and keep everyone safe. I carry a huge responsibility and many times I've wanted to throw in the towel, but just when I'm there I hear your voice telling me "you can do it baby, momma know you can do it". So I continue on. I celebrate you today and always! Love your son Leon.

This is something her grandson Camryn wanted to say...."Granny Marge I miss you and I love you❤️ I wish you were here to watch my football games because I know you would be so proud of me! Your little Boo Boo! But I know you are with God now because mommy says that's where you are so I know you will still be able to watch me in all my games! I love you Granny Marge!"

Margie
You showed me that love never dies. It is the one constant in this realm of existence and beyond. Thank you for raising such an angelic daughter in Tracy. I'm not going to say I'll miss you, because you are alive in your children, and I know I'll see you again. But until that day comes I'll just think about your smile and your laughter which was a reflection of your very soul. Thank you for being a part of my life.

Love Eternally

I only saw Margie once or twice, but we attended an award ceremony , and I could see the pride and love she had for Lee. She was very gracious, and did a wonderful job raising such a fine son. Rest in peace, sweet lady.

Ms. McKinstry, I did not have the pleasure of knowing you but I have been fortunate to work with your son, Lee.  He is a wonderful person and a great co-worker and I know this is a reflection on you and the life you provided him. You raised a kind and generous son, you should be proud. RIP...

Margie, I will miss you, we didn't talk nearly enough but time stood still when we could sit and talk. I remember coming to the hospital when you had your first cancer surgery and "catching" you off guard, you didn't want anyone to know you were sick. I was hoping to "catch" you again, but it wasn't meant to be. Love you, "Ma"

One of my angels

Margie,

I miss you so much! I didn't always get to see you but you were always on my mind and in my heart. You gave me sage advise that only you could. I am so grateful to Tracey and Leon for sharing you with those of us who really needed your spiritual guidance and love. When ever I feel overwhelmed, I think about the many times you told me to just do what God would want me to do.

I HAD MET MARGIE A FEW YEARS BACK AND INSTANTLY LOVED HER SENSE OF HUMOR AND HER LOVE SHE HAD FOR LEE AND TRACY AND HOW SHE ADORED HER GRAND CHILDREN CAMRYN AND EMMA. I TRULY LOVED HOW OUT SPOKEN SHE WAS AND NO MATTER HOW OLD HER CHILDREN WERE, IF THEY STEPPED OUT OF LINE, SHE WOULD PUT THEM BACK IN LINE NO MATTER THEIR AGE. SHE DEFINITELY WAS A MOM WHO DID RIGHT BY THEM. SHE MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS A PART OF HER FAMILY IN SUCH A SHORT TIME AND I WILL ALWAYS BE GRATEFUL FOR HAVING MET HER. MARGIE, MAY YOU REST IN PEACE AND THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME BE A PART OF YOUR FAMILY.  THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS TO ALL OF YOU AND KNOW SHE IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE RIGHT BY YOUR SIDE.  LOVE TO YOU ALL.
