Marianna Leonardi Patane D’Agostino, 98, of Sewell, NJ, passed away January 21, 2014 in Florida, to be at home with our Lord. Marianna was born in St. Alfio, Catania, Sicily, Italy and immigrated to America in 1939. She worked on the family farm in Mullica Hill and also in the sewing factories in Paulsboro and Clayton. Marianna loved to crochet, garden, spend time with her family and cook. Everyone was always welcome at her dinner table and “Mangia” is what you heard.

Marianna is survived by and was a devoted mother to son Salvatore “Sam” Patane (Kathleen) of Mullica Hill; daughters, Rose Fox of Clearwater, FL and Tina Feo (David) of North Port, FL. Marianna thought her greatest legacy were her children, 11 grandchildren, 24 great and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased in death by her first husband, Salvatore Patane; second husband, Louis D’Agostino; sisters, Emily Malignaggi, Anna, Pippa, Tina; brothers, Nando and Giuseppe Leonardi; and great granddaughter, Carly Marie Scholl.

Marianna lived a long Christian life and was a blessing to everyone who was in her presence. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday 7-9PM and Friday 9:30-10:30AM at the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit Parish Center, 17 Earlington Ave., Mullica Hill, NJ, where her Funeral Mass will begin Friday at 11AM. Interment Holy Name of Jesus Cemetery.

So very sorry for the loss of your beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother... and so much more. She was always such a joy to see at Zumba! I'll never forget her sitting in the back of the room, always with a smile on her face.. doing zumba from the chair! She's still with you, little things will touch your heart as the days go by and you'll realize it's her, watching over all of you with love, protection and guidance. Love, Naomi
