Her Life
July 9, 2016

Mrs. Bunn was born in Rome, Georgia on January 29, 1940, the daughter of the late, Mary Ann and John Wesley White. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Haralson, Georgia. Before the onset of her illness she worked at the Happy Haven Retirement Home where she worked in the food service division as a patient server. The loving attention that she showered on each patient enriched their lives greatly! When she was a young woman she truly loved working in her yard. Her green thumb produced magnificent flowers of all kinds and colors. Her ability in the yard brought great joy to the whole neighborhood through their floral beauty. As she grew older she developed an interest in shopping at local flea markets. She was delighted when she was able to find beautiful jewelry or a piece of her prized Tiera Glass. Her main joy in life however, was caring for her family. It was well known that she was a wonderful cook, and especially loved baking. Her cakes were absolutely delicious, but it was her fudge that she was famous for. There was nothing she liked better than seeing her family enjoy one of her wonderful home cooked meals! She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by two daughters, Angela Holloway (Kenney) of Franklin, GA., and Diana Buchanan of LaGrange, GA.; one son, Wesley Bunn of Newnan, GA.; nine grandchildren; thirteen great- grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Rufus Bunn.
