I have to write a tribute for Marilyn since I was too emotional to talk at her funeral. My memories of Marilyn & Brock will always be etched in my heart...I still am mourning for Brock (Michael) and not fully accepted that he is gone and now Marilyn (very heartbreaking every day I have cried since she passed)...I can honestly say knowing both of them are gone hurts alot but knowing they are together again eases my pain. I just miss them both, not being able to pick up the phone and talk to either 1 of them is what I miss alot for it was their words of encouragement and hope that made me stronger over the years & also they told me to pray about whatever I was going through & to Trust in GOD for everything. Like Marilyn I was a young Army wife at 17 yrs of age and I thank GOD for allowing our path to cross thanks to The Jackson Family who has been close friends with The Brock's since 1978 when Brock 1st joined the Army and Marilyn came to Maryland to be with her husband, it was The Jackson family who told us to look up their good friends in Savannah when we got stationed there back in 1993 and Michael & Marilyn embraced me like a little sister (like family and we became family). We (The Jackson, Brock & JosephSmith family) share alot of fond memories that I will cherish forever. I love & miss you both Brock & Marilyn...rest in peace & Love until I see you 2 again. Like Marilyn would always tell me "We are family" Yes we are & I will always look up to the Heavens to her & Brock when I find myself missing them. I promise to continue my love onto Miranda & Melinda & their family. I just wish Brock & Marilyn were here with us still but I know GOD needed them more.
I Love you Brock & Marilyn always ~Chris

To The Family of Marilyn
I am deeply sadden over your loss, Marilyn was a truly wonder person and all who came to know her will miss her please remember that just as Jesus mourned over his friend Lazarus you will mourn Marilyn because she was truly loved by her family. God will soon wipe your tears as stated at Rev 21:4 which says He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore"-"- Take refuge in the God of all comfort he will sustain you!!

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

To the Brock and Ramsey Families,

We have lost one of our greatest treasures, but let us rejoice in knowing that she is now with our beloved Michael and our mighty Lord and Savior. A loving wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend--Marilyn was truly a blessing to every life she touched.  May God bring our families peace and joy in knowing that His angel has taken her place with Him in Heaven.

With love,

The Gray Family

I met this Angel (Marilyn) in Okinawa, Japan

March 17, 2015

To the family of Marilyn,  My name is Gracie Wilson.I met Marilyn and Brock,  overseas (Okinawa,  Japan). Marilyn was the first person I met, whom I could call a great friend. I have not seen them over 30 + years.  Marilyn and I would go shopping and visiting each other. Marilyn, Miranda,  myself,  My son's. Shontel Wilson preceeded in death and Antoine Wilson.  My mind was focused on her. I decided to Google her and Brock so that I could have find them. Only to have find out that both of my friends was deceased. A dear Angel gone home. I love you, ALL. GRACIE ♡♡♡

Forever My Sister

January 9, 2014

I remember when my brother Michael Brock first brought Marilyn Ramsey to our home to meet the family.  At that time Marilyn was a shy seventh grader, she didn't say much but graced us with her beautiful unforgetable smile. We embraced her and she embraced us.  Since that time she was a member of our family, she was a daughter, a sister, an aunt and confidant but most of all she was a wonderful and loving mother to her girls and grandchildren and we all loved her.  Rest in peace Marilyn and Michael.
