After Gulf was nationalized there were not enough students to create 11th grade at SCCS so Mrs. Mckenney and Mrs. Justiniano, principal at SCCS convinced my parents to allow me to go to the US and finish High School - segway to then attend Louisiana State University, critical factors that greatly influenced my personal and professional future
