Her Life

Marion Ann Romer Keraitis

August 12, 2022
Marion Ann Romer Keraitis was born in Jersey City, NJ on October 15, 1943, to Louis and Anna Kirk Romer.  Marion lived in Montvale NJ for 20 years before relocating to Lakewood NJ.  During her life time, Marion had many careers.  She managed a bowling alley in Jackson, owned a boutique The Jean Scene in Shrewsbury, managed her father’s business Howell Trophies and, before retiring, worked as a home health aide.  Marion had a passion for gardening, cooking, knitting, crocheting and collecting dolls.  Her 10 grandchildren Dakota, Kyle, Tara, Savannah, Sierra, Joey, Louis, Kaity, Kelsey and Justin were the light of her life and she spoiled them every chance she could. Marion was a woman with a big heart; her door was always open and she selflessly gave to others.  She is survived by her daughter Dawn Baxter of Ocean Gate and her son Louis Keraitis of Forked River, her sisters Carol Pelsang of Jackson NJ and Janice Hewitt of Paradise TX, and many nieces and nephews. Marion was preceded in death by her father Louis Romer, her mother Anna Romer, her brother James Romer and her son Joseph Keraitis.  We rest easy knowing that Marion is with the Lord and joins those waiting to welcome her.  She is loved and will be missed by many.
