Her Life

My Mom

November 18, 2011

About my mom, by Janet her daughter.

My mom and I were very tight. I loved her more than anything. She loved kids, and her Country.

Mom was in WW2 in the US Air Force. She was in for 10 years and was a technician sgt. Mom would tease dad and say " I out rank you."  Mom did everything with my brother and I. She'd help us with our homework, then say "GO PLAY" and she come out and play with us. She wasn't afraid to be a kid.

After the service, she still loved kids and became a Van Buren Bus Driver for Belleville Schools. But it was funny. People called her" Hey Sarg," instead of Mrs. Mc Arthur.  Mom was one of a kind.

She'd work with my brother Joe and they'd work on cars together and mom could pull out a car engine and put it together again. She enjoyed her time with her kids.

Mom lost her battle but was strong and a fighter til the end.  YOU ARE DEEPLY MISSED MOM>    I LOVE YOU LOTS!!!      JANET YOUR DAUGHTER.
