Mark Brown Barker, 63, a longtime resident of Granville County went to his heavenly home Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.
A native of Granville County, he was the son of the late Jerry Leigh Barker and Elizabeth Anne Brown Barker.He was an automotive technician most of his life.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford by Rev. Robert Newton.Burial will be private.
Surviving are his wife of twenty-fours years, Annette Beal Barker of the home; a sister, Leighanne Barker of Florida, a brother, Jerry Barker of Greenville; step-daughter, Angela Privette of Oxford; step-son, Randy M. Privette of Franklinton; grandchildren, Shelby Lynn, Kaleigh, Hailey, Ricky and special nieces, Jennifer Cozart, Bridgette, Aleigh Marie and nephew, Watkins Barker.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:30 – 2:00 PM Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times at the home.
