His Life

His dream was to be a daddy

November 14, 2010

Mark couldn't wait to be a daddy.  From the time he was little that's what he wanted.  He loved kids and they loved him.  When he found out he was going to finally be one his eyes sparkled with excitement.  He made mistakes in his life but that wasn't one of him.  The saddest part about loosing him so young is that he won't be able to have more kids and won't get to see his son grow up - and his son won't be able to see his daddy again - not to hug him, not to kiss him - not to look into his eyes.  His son loved him very much and misses him every day...as we all do.

Mark touched so many lives and hearts.  We will all miss him terribly.  He will always be remembered for his laugh, smile, love for family and friends but especially for his son, he was a true mommas boy.  We will remember the projects he didn't finish, his camaflouge clothes, his baseball  hats, his red shoes, his love for baseball and the New York Yankees, the smell of his cologne, his love for clam digging and camping, and the list goes on and on.

He was taken from us at someone else's hands and I will never forgive or forget that.  He is my son and always will be.  That man (KY) stole my son  away from me, his son, his family, and his friends.  My son did nothing to deserve this.  My son was the innocent one in these actions.  KY is the guilty one.  He's admitted to it.  KY  will be held accountable for his actions that caused my son's death - hopefully for the rest of his miserable life.  Wish he could feel just a smidgen of this pain.
