I met Mark almost 10 years ago when I was elected as a Board member at Clubhouse International. From the very beginning, he became a dear friend and mentor to me. Over the years we saw each other quite frequently at Board meetings both in New York and abroad, as well as various retreats and International Seminars. I always looked forward to seeing him. He visited me in Greenville S.C. on other occasions and I was a guest in his home in Brookline. His hospitality to me and his appreciation for mine to him were always warm and loving. He was a giant in the global Clubhouse movement and was known and loved by everyone he met. He gave so much of himself to help people living with mental illness. I will miss him but will never forget him
